Dale McCormack

Dale McCormack grew up in the Middletown area. He attended Middletown Elementary School and graduated from Eastern High School.

He was a member of the Middletown Fire Department for several years before pursuing a career in law enforcement. Dale entered law enforcement in 1984 as a dispatcher for the Anchorage Police Department. From there he was hired by the Louisville Police Department and worked in the 2nd and 3rd districts.

After the merger of Louisville and Jefferson County Dale worked in the new 3rd Division of the Louisville Metro Police.

Dale retired on October 1, 2017 and moved to Charleston, South Carolina and was hired by the Charleston Police Department where he worked as an NCIC Duty Officer until being hired by the Middletown Police Department in February 2020.
