The Middletown Police Department is seeking applicants for the position of Police Officer. These full time positions may be offered to retired officers contractually. In an effort to fill these positions with high quality candidates we are offering an agreement for one calendar year, subject to renewal thereafter for successive one-year terms. Starting annual salary will be $52,000 ($56,000 w/KLEFPF). Additional benefits for full time Police
Officers include: Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, Simple IRA and/or 457
Deferred Comp, KLEFPF pay, and take home car program. Applicants must meet the requirements of the
Peace Officer Professional Standards (POPS) Act administered by the Kentucky
