Officer Clint Singleton

Officer Singleton joined the United States Marine Corps straight out of high school in 1988 as an infantryman. Officer Singleton served in combat during the first Gulf war and received several medals and awards including a Navy Achievement Medal. During his service Officer Singleton made a lateral move over to the military police side at the rank of Sergeant. He also served on the Color Guard and funeral detail at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego. While in the Marine Corps he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant at the end of his enlistment. Officer Singleton worked for the North Carolina Department of Corrections for 3 years before moving to Louisville, Kentucky where he joined the Jefferson County Police Department. Eventually, the police department merged with the city police department and became today’s Louisville Metro Police Department. Officer Singleton attained his Bachelor’s of Business Management Degree in 2008. Officer Singleton retired after 23 years of Service from LMPD. Officer Singleton decided to continue his law enforcement career by joining the Middletown Police Department.
