Officer Scott Beck

Scott Beck was born and raised in Louisville and graduated from Moore High School. His Law Enforcement career began in 1996 when he was hired by the Jefferson County Corrections Department (JCCD) as a Corrections Officer. There he served in the Security Units of the jail and was a member of the Corrections Emergency Response Team (CERT).

He joined the former Jefferson County Police Department (JCPD) in 2000, which later merged into the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD), and was assigned to Adam District/Eighth Division. Scott served as a Patrolman, Flex Detective and CID Detective while in the Eighth Division. He was also a member of the Special Response Team (SRT) and Bicycle Response Team (BRT). His training and certifications include the Police Mountain Bike Course, ATV Course, Patrol Rifle, Crisis Intervention Team, RADAR, Alcohol Beverage Control and the FTO/PTO Course.

Scott retired from LMPD in 2019 before joining the Middletown Police Department that same year.
